Judith 8:33
Good News Translation
Tonight, the three of you must stand guard at the gate so that my slave woman and I can leave the town. And before the day comes on which you have promised to surrender, the Lord will use me to rescue the people of Israel.

New Revised Standard Version
Stand at the town gate tonight so that I may go out with my maid; and within the days after which you have promised to surrender the town to our enemies, the Lord will deliver Israel by my hand.

Contemporary English Version
The Lord will use me to rescue the people of Israel before the day you agreed to surrender to the Assyrians. I want the three of you to stand guard at the town gate tonight, so that my servant woman and I can leave safely.
