Good News Translation
The meat must be eaten on the day the animal is killed or on the next day. Any meat left on the third day must be burned,

It shall be eaten on the same day you offer it, or on the next day; and anything left over until the third day shall be consumed in fire.

You may eat the meat either on the day of the sacrifice or on the next day, but you must burn anything left over on the third day.
