Sirach 46:7
Good News Translation
Joshua was loyal as long as Moses lived, both he and Caleb son of Jephunneh. They stood up to the whole community, made them stop their ungrateful complaining, and kept them from sinning.

New Revised Standard Version
And in the days of Moses he proved his loyalty, he and Caleb son of Jephunneh: they opposed the congregation, restrained the people from sin, and stilled their wicked grumbling.

Contemporary English Version
Earlier, Caleb son of Jephunneh, along with Joshua, proved he was loyal to God by standing up to the people who rebelled against Moses. These two held back the people from sinning and put an end to their complaints.
