Sirach 47:8
Good News Translation
In everything David did, he gave thanks and praise to the Holy Lord, the Most High. He loved his Creator and sang praises to him with all his heart.

In all that he did he gave thanks to the Holy One, the Most High, proclaiming his glory; he sang praise with all his heart, and he loved his Maker.

Contemporary English Version
Whenever David won a victory, he thanked the Holy God and sang songs of praise with all his heart, expressing love for his Creator, the Lord Most High.
