Give according to what you have. The more you have, the more you should give. Even if you have only a little, be sure to give something.

If you have many possessions, make your gift from them in proportion; if few, do not be afraid to give according to the little you have.

If you are rich, give generously to the poor. On the other hand, if you don't have much money, don't be afraid to give them at least a little.
