1[[A Psalm (sacred song about or to God) of David [Beloved].]] Hear my prayer, O LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], give ear to my supplications: in yourⁱ faithfulness answer me, [and] in yourⁱ righteousness.

2And enter not into judgment with yourⁱ servant: for in yourⁱ sight shall no man living be justified.

3For the enemy has persecuted my soul; he has smitten my life down to the ground; he has made me to dwell in darkness, as those that have been long dead.

4Therefore is my spirit overwhelmed within me; my heart within me is desolate.

5I remember the days of old; I meditate on all yourⁱ works; I muse on the work of yourⁱ hands.

6I stretch forth my hands unto youⁱ: my soul [thirsts] after youⁱ, as a thirsty land. Selah [stop and diligently consider what was just said].

7Hear me speedily, O LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate]: my spirit fails: hide not yourⁱ face from me, lest I be like unto them that go down into the pit.

8Cause me to hear yourⁱ lovingkindness in the morning; for in youⁱ do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto youⁱ.

9Deliver me, O LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], from mine enemies: I flee unto youⁱ to hide me.

10Teach me to do yourⁱ will; for youⁱ [are] my God-Elohim (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]: yourⁱ spirit [is] good; lead me into the land of uprightness.

11Quicken me, O LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], for yourⁱ name's sake: for yourⁱ righteousness' sake bring my soul out of trouble.

12And of yourⁱ mercy cut off mine enemies, and destroy all them that afflict my soul: for I [am] yourⁱ servant.
