1He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

2I will say of the LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], [He is] my refuge and my fortress: my God-Elohim (The Living Word) [The Many Powered]; in him will I trust.

3Surely he shall deliver youⁱ from the snare of the fowler, [and] from the destructive (hurtful; noxious) pestilence.

4He shall cover youⁱ with his feathers, and under his wings shall youⁱ trust: his truth [shall be yourⁱ] shield and buckler (round shielf held with a grip).

5youⁱ shall not be afraid for the terror by night; [nor] for the arrow [that] flies by day;

6[Nor] for the pestilence [that] walks in darkness; [nor] for the destruction [that] wastes at noonday.

7A thousand shall fall at yourⁱ side, and ten thousand at yourⁱ right hand; [but] it shall not come near youⁱ.

8Only with yourⁱ eyes shall youⁱ behold and see the reward of the wicked.

9Because youⁱ have made the LORD-Yehovah [Messiah Pre-Incarnate], [which is] my refuge, [even] the most High, yourⁱ habitation;

10There shall no evil befall youⁱ, neither shall any plague come near yourⁱ dwelling.

11For he shall give his angels charge over youⁱ, to keep youⁱ in all yourⁱ ways.

12They shall bear youⁱ up in [their] hands, lest youⁱ dash yourⁱ foot against a stone.

13youⁱ shall tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shall youⁱ trample under feet.

14Because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I [will be] with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.

16With long life will I satisfy him, and show him my salvation.
