The New Messianic Version of the Bible 1And unto the angel of the church in Sardis [red ones] write; These things says he that has the Seven Spirits of God-The Father, and the seven stars; I know youri works, that youi have a name that youi live, and are dead.
Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found youri works perfect before God-The Father.
Remember therefore how youi have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore youi shall not watch, I will come on youi as a thief, and youi shall not know what hour I will come upon youi.
youi have a few names even in Sardis [red ones] which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white clothing; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches. 7And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia [brotherly love] write; These things says he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David [Beloved], he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens; 8I know youri works: behold, I have set before youi an open door, and no man can shut it: for youi have a little strength, and have kept my word, and have not denied my name. 9Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan [the adversary], which say they are Y’hudim (Judeans) [praised of Yah], and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before youri feet, and to know that I have loved youi. 10Because youi have kept the word of my patience, I also will keep youi from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth. 11Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which youi have, that no man take youri crown. 12Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God-The Father, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God-The Father, and the name of the city of my God-The Father, [which is] new Yerushalayim [Foundation of Peace], which comes down out of heaven from my God-The Father: and [I will write upon him] my new name. 13He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches. 14And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans [justice of the people] write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God-The Father; 15I know youri works, that youi are neither cold nor hot: I would youi were cold or hot. 16So then because youi are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue youi out of my mouth. 17Because youi say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that youi are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel youi to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that youi may be rich; and white clothing, that youi may be clothed, and [that] the shame of youri nakedness do not appear; and anoint youri eyes with Eyesalve (medicine for the eyes), that youi may see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke (reprimand; strongly warn; restrain) and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will eat with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit [Ruach] says unto the churches.
