1 And David counseled with the captains of the thousands and of the hundreds, with every leader. 2 And David said to all the assembly of Israel, “If it is good to you? breaking forth from YHWH our God, let us send out to our brothers remaining in all the land of Israel, and with them to the priests and the Levites in their cities and their pasturelands, that they may gather together to us. 3 And let us bring back the ark of our God to us, for we did not seek Him in the days of Saul.” 4 And all the assembly said that they would do so, for the thing was right in the eyes of all the people. 1 Chronicles 13:1-4, Berean Literal Bible.
