25 And it came to pass that David and the elders of Israel and the chiefs of the thousands went to bring up the ark of the covenant of YHWH from the house of Obed-edom with joy. 26 And it came to pass, in God helping the Levites who bore the ark of the covenant of YHWH, that they offered seven bulls and seven rams. 27 And David was wrapped in a robe of fine linen, and were all the Levites who bore the ark, and the singers, and Chenaniah head of the lifting up of the singers. And on David was an Ephod of linen. 28 And all Israel brought up the ark of the covenant of YHWH with shouting, and with the sound of the shofar, and with the trumpets, and with cymbals, making music with stringed instruments and harps. 29 And it came to pass, as the ark of the covenant of YHWH came to the City of David, that Michal daughter of Saul looked through the window and saw King David dancing and playing music; and she despised him in her heart. 1 Chronicles 15:25-29, Berean Literal Bible.
