48 Caleb’s (dog) concubine Maacah (oppression) was the mother of Sheber (breaking) and Tirhanah (favor). 49 She was also the mother of Shaaph (division) father of Madmannah (dunghill), and of Sheva (YHWH contends) father of Machbenah (bond) and Gibea (hill).
