17 Charge those who are rich in this world, that they be not proud, nor trust in the uncertainty of riches, but in the living God who gives us all things so abundantly for our comfort; 18 That they do good works, and become rich in good deeds, and be ready to give and willing to share, 19 Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the true life. 20 O Timothy, be careful of that which is entrusted to you, flee from empty echoes and from the perversion of science: 21 For those professing this, have strayed from the faith.
