5 And Shemaiah the prophet came to Rehoboam and the leaders of Judah who were gathered together in Jerusalem because of Shishak, and he said to them, “Thus says YHWH, ‘You? have forsaken Me; and also I have abandoned you? all into the hand of Shishak.’” 6 And the leaders of Israel humbled themselves—and the king—and they said, “Righteous is YHWH.” 7 And when YHWH saw that they had humbled themselves, the word of YHWH came to Shemaiah, saying, “They have humbled themselves; I will not destroy them, and I will give to them a little thing for escape, and My wrath shall not be poured out on Jerusalem by the hand of Shishak. 2 Chronicles 12:5-7, Berean Literal Bible.
