“Because that Manasseh king of Judah has done these abominations, he has acted more wickedly than all that the Amorite did who were before him, and also he has caused Judah to sin with his idols.

Therefore thus says YHWH, God of Israel: ‘Behold, I am bringing in calamity upon Jerusalem and Judah, that everyone who hears it, the two of his ears will tingle.

And I will stretch out over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plumb line of the house of Ahab, and I will wipe out Jerusalem as one wipes the bowl, wiping it and turning it upon its face.

And I will forsake the remnant of My inheritance, and I will give them into the hand of their enemies, and they shall become plunder and spoil to all their enemies,

because that they have done evil in My eyes and have provoked Me to anger since the day that their fathers came out of Egypt and up to this day.’”

And also Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, until that he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides his sin by which he caused Judah to sin by doing evil in the eyes of YHWH.

And the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he committed, are they not written in the Book of the Words of the Days of the Kings of Judah?

And Manasseh rested with his fathers and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of Uzza. And Amon his son reigned in his place.

Amon was a son of twenty-two years in his reigning, and two years he reigned in Jerusalem. And the name of his mother was Meshullemeth daughter of Haruz of Jotbah.

And he did evil in the eyes of YHWH, as Manasseh his father had done.

And he walked in all the ways that his father had walked, and he served the idols that his father had served, and he bowed low to them.

And He forsook YHWH, God of his fathers, and he did not walk in the way of YHWH.

And the servants of Amon conspired against him and killed the king in his own house.

And the people of the land struck all those who had conspired against King Amon, and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his place.

And the rest of the acts of Amon that he did, are they not written in the Book of the Words of the Days of the Kings of Judah?

And he was buried in his tomb in the garden of Uzza. And Josiah his son reigned in his place.
