11 and having come to us, and taking the girdle of Paul, binding his own feet and hands, said, These things says the Holy Ghost, The man whose girdle this is, will the Jews in Jerusalem bind and deliver into the hands of the Gentiles. 12 And when we heard these words, both we, and the citizens, exhorted him not to go up to Jerusalem. 13 Then Paul responded and said, What are you doing, weeping and breaking my heart? for I am ready not only to be bound, but to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus. 14 And he not being persuaded, we acquiesced, saying, Let the will of the Lord be done.
