32 Now the congregation of the believers were of one soul and of one mind; not one of them spoke of the property he possessed as his own; but everything they had was in common. 33 And the apostles testified with great power concerning the resurrection of Jesus Christ; and they were all greatly favored. 34 There was not a man among them who was destitute; for those who possessed fields and houses sold them and brought the money for the things that were sold, 35 And placed them at the disposal of the disciples; and the proceeds were then given to every man according to his needs. 36 Now Joseph whom the apostles surnamed Bar’na-bas (which is, interpreted, the son of consolation), a Levite of the country of Cy’prus, 37 Had a field and he sold it and brought the price and placed it at the disposal of the apostles.
