30 And forty years having been fulfilled, an angel appeared to him in the wilderness of Mount Sinai, in a flame of fire of a bush. 31 And Moses, having seen, marveled at the vision. And on his coming near to behold, there was the voice of the Lord: 32 ‘I am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham and of Isaac and of Jacob.’ And Moses, having become terrified, did not dare to look. 33 And the Lord said to him, ‘Loose the sandal of your feet, for the place on which you stand is holy ground. 34 I have surely seen the oppression of My people in Egypt, and I heard their groans, and I came down to deliver them. And now come, I will send you to Egypt.’ 35 This Moses, whom they rejected, having said, ‘Who appointed you ruler and judge?’—this one whom God sent as both ruler and redeemer by the hand of the angel having appeared to him in the bush— Acts 7:30-35, Berean Literal Bible.
