1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatening and murder against the disciples of the Lord, having come to the chief priest, 2 He asked of him letters to Damascus, to the synagogues, so that if he find certain men being of the way, and also women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem. 3 And in going, it was he drawing near to Damascus: and suddenly a light from heaven flashed with lightning around him: 4 And having fallen upon the earth, he heard a voice saying to him, Saul, Saul, Why drivest thou me out? 5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord?
