12 Then he said to me. Fear not, Daniel; for from the first day that you did set your heart to comprehend so that you might stand before your God, your words have been heard, and I have come in response to your words. 13 The ruler of the kingdom of Persia withstood me twenty-one days; but lo, Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me; and I remained there against the wishes of the ruler of Persia. 14 Now I have come to let you know what shall befall your people in the latter days; for yet the vision is for the end of the days appointed.
