5 An unblemished lamb, a male, a son of a year, shall be for you⁺. You⁺ shall take it from the sheep or from the goats. 6 And it shall be kept for you⁺ until the four and tenth day of this month. And the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall slaughter it between the evenings, 7 and they shall take from the blood and put it on the two doorposts and on the lintel on the houses in which they shall eat it.
