And Moses stretched out his staff toward the heavens, and YHWH gave voices and hail, and fire went to the earth. And YHWH rained down hail on the land of Egypt.

And there was hail, and fire coming in the middle of the hail, very heavy, such as that there was none like it in all the land of Egypt from the time it became a nation.

And the hail struck in all land of Egypt all that was in the field—from man even to beast—and every plant of the field. The hail struck and shattered every tree of the field.

Only in the land of Goshen, where there were the sons of Israel, there was no hail.

And Pharaoh sent and called for Moses and for Aaron and said to them, “I have sinned this time. YHWH is the righteous one, and I and my people are the wicked ones.

Pray to YHWH, for there has been too much of God’s voices and hail. And I will send you? out, and you shall no longer stay.”

And Moses said to him, “As I leave the city, I will spread out my hands to YHWH, and the voices will cease, and there will not be the hail anymore, in order that you may know that the earth belongs to YHWH.
