1 At this time a man named Lazarus (God has helped) was sick. He lived in Bethany (house of affliction), the village of Mary (beloved) and her sister Martha (the lady). 2 (Mary (beloved), whose brother Lazarus (God has helped) was sick, was to anoint the Lord {Kyrion} with perfume and wipe His feet with her hair.) 3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord {Kyrie}, the one You love is sick. 4 When Jesus (YHWH saves) heard this, He said, “This sickness will not end in death.
