1 Jesus saying these things, went out with His disciples beyond the brook of Kidron, where there was a garden, into which He and His disciples came. 2 And Judas, the one having betrayed Him; knew the place: because frequently Jesus with His disciples resorted thither. 3 Then Judas, having taken a band and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, comes thither with lanterns and torches and arms. 4 Then Jesus, knowing all things which are coming on Him, came out, says to them, Whom do you seek? 5 They responded to Him, Jesus the Nazarene. Jesus says to them, I am He. And Judas also, the one having betrayed Him, stood with them. John 18:1-5, Godbey New Testament. Public domain.
