39 And there came also Nicodemus, who at first had come to Jesus by night; and he brought with him a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about a hundred pints. 40 So they took away the body of Jesus, and bound it in linen cloths with the spices, according to the custom of the Jews in burial. 41 Now there was a garden in the place where Jesus was crucified; and in the garden a new tomb, in which no man was yet laid. 42 So they laid Jesus there, because the sabbath was approaching and because the tomb was near.
