24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, who is called the Twin, was not there with them when Jesus came. 25 And the disciples said to him, We have seen our Lord. He said to them, Unless I see in his hands the places of the nails, and put my fingers in them, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe. 26 Eight days later, the disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, when the doors were locked, and stood in the midst, and said to them, Peace be with you. 27 Then he said to Thomas, Bring your finger here, and see my hands; and bring your hand and put it into my side; and do not be an unbeliever, but a believer. 28 Thomas answered and said to him, O my Lord and my God! 29 Jesus said to him, Now you believe, because you have seen me? Blessed are those who have not seen me, and have believed. 30 Many other miracles Jesus did in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book; 31 Even these are written, so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and when you believe you shall have life everlasting in his name.
