30 I am able to do nothing from Myself. Just as I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My will, but the will of the One having sent Me. 31 If I testify concerning Myself, My testimony is not true. 32 It is another testifying concerning Me, and I know that the testimony that He testifies concerning Me is true. 33 You? have sent to John, and he has testified to the truth. 34 Now I do not receive testimony from man, but I say these things so that you? may be saved. 35 He was the lamp burning and shining, and you? were willing to exult for an hour in his light. 36 But I have testimony greater than that of John. For the works that the Father has given to Me so that I should complete them, the same works that I do, testify concerning Me that the Father has sent Me. 37 And the One having sent Me, the Father Himself, has testified concerning Me. You? have neither heard His voice at any time, nor have you? seen His form. 38 And you? do not have His word remaining in you?, for you? do not believe Him whom He sent. 39 You? search the Scriptures because you? think to have eternal life in them, and these are they testifying concerning Me; 40 and you? are not willing to come to Me so that you? may have life. 41 I do not receive glory from men, 42 but I have known you?, that you? do not have the love of God in yourselves. 43 I have come in the name of My Father, and you? do not receive Me; if another should come in his own name, you? will receive him. 44 How are you? able to believe, receiving glory from one another, and you? do not seek the glory that is from the only God? 45 Do not think that I will accuse you? to the Father. There is the one accusing you?: Moses, in whom you? have hoped. 46 For if you? were believing Moses, you? would have been believing Me; for he wrote concerning Me. 47 But if you? do not believe his writings, how will you? believe My words?” John 5:30-47, Berean Literal Bible.
