4 to the south, all the land of the Canaanites (merchants), from Mearah (Arah) of the Sidonians to Aphek (enclosure), as far as the border of the Amorites (sayers); 5 the land of the Gebalites (the area of Byblos); and all Lebanon (whiteness) to the east, from Baal-gad (lord of fortune) below Mount Hermon (a sanctuary) to Lebo-hamath (fortress). 6 All the inhabitants of the hill country from Lebanon (whiteness) to Misrephoth-maim (burnings of water)—all the Sidonians—I Myself will drive out before the Israelites (God prevails).
