11 And the sons of Israel did evil in the eyes of YHWH, and they served the Baals, 12 and they forsook YHWH, God of their fathers, who had brought them out from the land of Egypt, and they went after other gods from the gods of the peoples who were around them, and they bowed down to them, and they provoked to anger YHWH. 13 And they forsook YHWH and did service to Baal and to the Ashtoreths.
