Leviticus 23:1-21 ▼

1 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘The feasts of YHWH that you⁺ shall proclaim to be holy convocations—these are My feasts.

3 Six days work shall be done, and the seventh day is a Sabbath of complete rest, a holy convocation. You⁺ shall not do any work; it is the Sabbath of YHWH in all your⁺ dwellings.

4 These are the feasts of YHWH, holy convocations, which you⁺ shall proclaim at their appointed times.

5 In the first month, on the fourteenth of the month, between the evenings, is the passover to YHWH.

6 And on the fifteenth day of this month is the feast of the Unleavened to YHWH. Seven days you⁺ must eat unleavened bread.

7 On the first day you⁺ shall have a holy convocation. You⁺ shall not do any customary work.

8 And you⁺ shall offer a fire offering to YHWH for seven days. The seventh day is a holy convocation; you⁺ shall not do any customary work.’”

9 And YHWH spoke to Moses, saying,

10 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you⁺ come into the land that I am giving to you⁺ and you⁺ reap its harvest, then you⁺ shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your⁺ harvest to the priest.

11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the face of YHWH to be accepted on your⁺ behalf. On the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.

12 And you⁺ shall offer on that day when you⁺ wave the sheaf a male lamb, unblemished, a son of a year, as a burnt offering to YHWH.

13 And its grain offering is two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with the oil, a fire offering to YHWH, a pleasing aroma. And its drink offering is of wine, a fourth of a hin.

14 And you⁺ shall not eat bread, nor parched grain, nor fresh grain, until this same day that you⁺ have brought an offering to your⁺ God; it shall be an everlasting statute throughout your⁺ generations in all your⁺ dwellings.

15 And you⁺ shall count for yourselves from the day after the Sabbath, from the day that you⁺ brought the sheaf of the wave offering—they are seven completed Sabbaths—

16 until the day after the seventh Sabbath. You⁺ shall number fifty days, and you⁺ shall offer a new grain offering to YHWH.

17 From your⁺ dwellings you⁺ shall bring bread of a wave offering, two loaves, of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour; they shall be baked with leaven, the firstfruits to YHWH.

18 And you⁺ shall offer with the bread seven lambs unblemished, sons of a year, and one bull, a son of the herd, and two rams; they shall be a burnt offering to YHWH, and with their grain offerings and their drink offerings, a fire offering for a pleasing aroma to YHWH.

19 And you⁺ shall sacrifice one kid of the goats as a sin offering, and two male lambs, sons of a year, as a sacrifice of peace offerings.

20 And the priest shall wave them with the bread of the firstfruits as a wave offering before the face of YHWH, besides the two lambs; they shall be holy to YHWH for the priest.

21 And you⁺ shall proclaim on this same day that it is a holy convocation to you⁺. You⁺ shall not do any customary work; it shall be an everlasting statute in all your⁺ dwellings throughout your⁺ generations.
