1 One day Jesus had been praying in a certain place, and as soon as he had done, one of his disciples said to him, instruct us about prayer, as John the baptist instructed his disciples. 2 he said therefore to them, when ye pray, say, "our father, which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth, as in heaven.
