1 AND Jesus said to his disciples, It is impossible but that offences should come; but woe to him by whose hand they come! 2 It were better for him that an ass’ millstone were hanged on his neck, and he thrown into the sea, than cause one of these little ones to stumble. 3 Beware among yourselves. If your brother should sin, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4 And if he should offend you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day turn to you and say, I repent; forgive him.
