Luke 2:27-32 ▼

27 And he went in the Spirit into the temple. And in the parents bringing in the child Jesus for them to do according to that having become customary by the Law concerning Him,

28 then he took Him into the arms and blessed God, and he said:

29 “Now, Lord, You dismiss Your servant in peace, according to Your word.

30 For my eyes saw Your salvation,

31 which You prepared before the face of all the peoples,

32 a light to the uncovering of the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel.”
