63 And the men who are holding Him began mocking Him, beating Him. 64 And having blindfolded Him, they were questioning Him, saying, “Prophesy, who is the one having struck You?” 65 And they were saying many other things to Him, blaspheming. 66 And when it was day, the elderhood of the people were gathered together, both chief priests and scribes, and they led Him into their Council, saying, 67 “If You are the Christ, tell us.” But He said to them, “If I should tell you?, you? would not believe, 68 and if I should ask you, you? would not answer. 69 But from now on the Son of Man will be sitting at the right hand of the power of God.” 70 And they all said, “Are You then the Son of God?” And He was saying to them, “You? say that I am.” 71 And they said, “What need do we have of any more testimony? For we ourselves heard it from His mouth.” Luke 22:63-71, Berean Literal Bible. Public domain.
