44 And he turned to the woman, & sayde vnto Simon: Seest thou this woman? I entred into thyne house, thou gauest me no water for my feete, but she hath wasshed my feete with teares, & wyped them with the heeres of her head. 45 Thou gauest me no kysse: but she, sence the tyme I came in, hath not ceassed to kysse my feete. 46 Myne head with oyle thou dyddest not anoynt: but she hath anoynted my feete with oyntment. 47 Wherfore I say vnto thee, many sinnes are forgeuen her: for she loued much. To whom lesse is forgeuen, the same doth lesse loue. 48 And he sayde vnto her: thy sinnes are forgeuen thee. 49 And they that sate at meate with hym, began to say within them selues, Who is this that forgeueth sinnes also? 50 And he sayde to the woman: Thy fayth hath saued thee, go in peace.
