15 And they come to Jerusalem. And having entered into the temple, He began to cast out those selling and those buying in the temple. And He overturned the tables of the money changers and the seats of those selling the doves, 16 and He was not permitting that anyone might carry a vessel through the temple. 17 And He was teaching and was saying to them, “Has it not been written: ‘My house will be called a house of prayer for all the nations’? But you? have made it ‘a den of robbers.’” 18 And the chief priests and the scribes heard, and they were seeking how they might destroy Him.
