15 Ought we to geue, or ought we not to geue? But he seeyng their hypocrisie, sayde vnto them: Why tempt ye me? Bryng me a penie, that I may see it. 16 And they brought it: And he sayth vnto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they sayde vnto hym: Caesars. 17 And Iesus aunswered, and sayde vnto them: Geue to Caesar the thynges that belong to Caesar: and to God, the thynges which pertayne to God.
