43 having come, Joseph from Arimathea, a prominent Council member who was also himself waiting for the kingdom of God, having boldness, went in to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. 44 And Pilate wondered if already He was dead. And having summoned the centurion, he inquired of him whether He was dead already. 45 And having known from the centurion, he granted the body to Joseph. 46 And having bought a linen cloth, having taken Him down, he wrapped Him in the linen cloth and laid Him in a tomb that was cut out of a rock.
