8 And Jesus immediately knowing in His spirit that they are thus reasoning among themselves, said to them, Why do you thus reason in your hearts? 9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, Thy sins are forgiven; or to say, Arise, and take thy bed, and walk about? 10 But in order that you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins 11 (He says to the paralytic), I say unto thee, Arise, take thy bed, and go into thy house. 12 And he arose immediately, and having taken the bed, went out before them all.
