4 And having gathered together all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he was inquiring of them where the Christ is born.

5 And they said to him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for thus it has been written through the prophet:

6 ‘And you, Bethlehem, land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah, for out of you will come forth One leading, who will shepherd My people Israel.’”
