44 But I say to you⁺, love your⁺ enemies and pray for those persecuting you⁺, 45 so that you⁺ may be sons of your⁺ Father who is in the heavens. For He makes His sun rise on evil and good, and He sends rain on righteous and unrighteous. 46 For if you⁺ love those loving you⁺, what reward do you⁺ have?
