1 And there will come near the heads of the fathers to the families of the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh, from the families of the sons of Joseph; and they will speak before Moses and before the chiefs of the heads of the fathers to the sons of Israel. 2 And they will say, Jehovah commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the sons of Israel: and my lord was commanded by Jehovah to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters. 3 And they were for wives to one of the sons of the tribes of the sons of Israel, and their inheritance being taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and was added upon the tribe which they shall be to them: and it shall be taken away from the lot of our inheritance. 4 And when the jubilee shall be to the sons of Israel, and their inheritance was added to the inheritance of the tribe which they shall be to them: and from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers their inheritance shall be taken away.
