1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and the sea is no more.

2 And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, made ready as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of the throne, saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they will be His peoples, and God Himself will be with them, as their God.

4 And He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall be no more; neither mourning, nor crying, nor pain, shall be any more; because the first things passed away."

5 And He Who sits upon the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new." And He saith to me, "Write; because these words are faithful and true."

6 And He said to me, "It has come to pass. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give to him that thirsted of the fountain of the water of life freely.

7 He that overcomes shall inherit these things; and I will be to him a God, and He will be to Me a son.

8 But, for the fearful, and unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, and fornicators, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the liars, their part shall be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone; which is the second death."

9 And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls that were full of the seven last plagues, and spake with me, saying, " Come hither; I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb."

10 And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the city, the holy Jerusalem, coming down out of the Heaven from God,
