5 For they being according to the flesh mind things of the flesh; and they according to the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6 For the thought of the flesh, death; and the thought of the Spirit, life and peace. 7 Wherefore the thought of the flesh enmity to God: for it is not subject to the law of God, for it cannot be. 8 And they being in the flesh cannot please God. 9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwell in you.
