How can we live with integrity daily?
In what ways can we "walk in integrity" in our personal lives?

Walking Securely: Proverbs 10:9

“He who walks in integrity walks securely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.”

What Integrity Means

• Wholeness—no hidden faults or divided loyalties (Psalm 101:2).

• Straightness—living without moral crookedness (Proverbs 11:3).

• Consistency—same character in private and public (Job 2:3).

How to Walk in Integrity Daily

• Speak truth at all times

– “Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to his neighbor.” (Ephesians 4:25)

• Keep promises and fulfill commitments

– “LORD, who may dwell in Your tent? … the one who keeps his oath, even when it hurts.” (Psalm 15:1,4)

• Handle money honestly

– “A false balance is an abomination to the LORD, but a just weight is His delight.” (Proverbs 11:1)

• Guard sexual purity

– “Flee from sexual immorality.” (1 Corinthians 6:18)

• Refuse gossip and slander

– “Whoever slanders his neighbor secretly, I will destroy.” (Psalm 101:5)

• Practice transparency and accountability

– “Walk as children of light… take no part in the fruitless deeds of darkness.” (Ephesians 5:8,11)

• Show justice and compassion to others

– “Do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)

• Apologize and make restitution when wrong

– Zacchaeus restored fourfold (Luke 19:8).

• Maintain the same standards online as offline

– “Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight.” (Hebrews 4:13)

• Keep a tender, examined heart

– “Search me, O God, and know my heart.” (Psalm 139:23)

Cultivating Integrity from the Inside Out

• Fear of the Lord—“The fear of the LORD is hatred of evil.” (Proverbs 8:13)

• Daily Scripture intake—“Your word is a lamp to my feet.” (Psalm 119:105)

• Dependence on the Spirit—“Walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” (Galatians 5:16)

• Fellowship with trustworthy believers—“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.” (Proverbs 27:17)

Blessings Promised to the Upright

• Personal security and peace (Proverbs 10:9)

• Guidance in decisions (Proverbs 11:3)

• Generational blessing (Proverbs 20:7)

• Credible witness to unbelievers (1 Peter 2:12)

• Eternal commendation—“Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:23)
