Link Daniel 7:26 & Revelation's judgment.
How does Daniel 7:26 connect with Revelation's depiction of God's judgment?

A panoramic verse: Daniel 7:26

“But the court will convene, and his dominion will be taken away and completely destroyed forever.” (Daniel 7:26)

Shared courtroom scenes

- Daniel 7:9–10 shows thrones set in place and books opened; Revelation 4:2–4 and 20:11–12 show the same throne room with opened books.

- The Ancient of Days in Daniel aligns with the One seated on the throne in Revelation; His authority is absolute and literal.

One verdict, one Judge

- Daniel: the little horn’s reign ends when “the court will convene.”

- Revelation: the beast, false prophet, and dragon are judged when “the books were opened” (20:12).

Daniel 7:11 – the beast is slain.

Revelation 19:20 – “the beast was captured … thrown alive into the fiery lake.”

Total annihilation mirrored in Revelation

- Daniel says the horn’s dominion is “completely destroyed forever.”

- Revelation echoes the same finality:

• 19:20 – beast and false prophet cast alive into the lake of fire.

• 20:10 – devil joins them, “tormented day and night forever and ever.”

• 21:8 – “the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”

The saints inherit the kingdom

- Daniel 7:27 promises: “Then the sovereignty, dominion, and greatness of the kingdoms … will be given to the saints.”

- Revelation 20:4 sees saints reigning with Christ for a thousand years; 22:5 affirms, “They will reign forever and ever.”

Daniel 7:21–22 – the horn wages war until the Ancient of Days “pronounced judgment in favor of the saints.”

Revelation 12:10 – “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Christ.”

Living today in view of the coming court

- God’s throne is already occupied; His verdict is certain (Psalm 103:19; Revelation 4:2).

- World empires rise and fall, yet the final outcome has been written in advance (Isaiah 46:10).

- Believers stand on the winning side; perseverance is fueled by the assured, literal triumph described in both Daniel and Revelation (Revelation 14:12).
