Reflect Jesus' glory daily: how?
How can we reflect the "glory" given by Jesus in our daily lives?

Sharing Jesus’ Glory: John 17 Verse 22

“I have given them the glory You gave Me, so that they may be one as We are one.” (John 17:22)

Glory—What Jesus Handed to Us

• More than a radiant glow; it’s His own character and reputation shared with those who belong to Him.

• It is already “given,” not something we manufacture.

• Its immediate purpose: unity (“that they may be one”).

• Its broader purpose: that the world sees God’s nature through us (John 17:23).

Big Truths That Set the Stage

• We were created to mirror God (Genesis 1:27).

• Jesus perfectly displayed the Father’s glory (John 1:14).

• The Spirit keeps transforming believers “with intensifying glory” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

• Good works shine that glory outward (Matthew 5:16).

Daily Rhythms for Reflecting His Glory

1. Abide in His Word

– Consistent, obedient reading and doing (James 1:22).

2. Cultivate Unity

– Guard relationships from gossip, envy, unforgiveness (Ephesians 4:3).

3. Practice Sacrificial Love

– Look for tangible ways to serve, give, listen (John 13:34–35).

4. Choose Holiness Over Conformity

– Decisions big and small shaped by God’s standards, not culture’s (1 Peter 1:15–16).

5. Speak Boldly Yet Graciously

– Share the gospel and your own testimony (Colossians 4:5–6).

6. Celebrate Gratitude

– Thankfulness keeps attention on the Giver, not on ourselves (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Practical “Glory Check” List

• Morning: Surrender plans to Him—ask, “How can You shine through me today?”

• Midday: Quick inventory—am I building unity or division?

• Evening: Review the day’s conversations and decisions; note where His character was clear or clouded.

• Weekly: Serve someone anonymously. Glory points upward when credit stays with God.

• Ongoing: Memorize and pray 2 Corinthians 3:18 to keep the vision fresh.

Marks That His Glory Is Showing

• Growing Fruit of the Spirit—love, joy, peace, etc. (Galatians 5:22–23).

• Unbelievers notice integrity and kindness (1 Peter 2:12).

• Conflicts are resolved more quickly; unity deepens.

• Worship becomes a lifestyle, not a time slot.

Living It Out

The glory Jesus gave is already ours; reflecting it is a matter of staying close to Him, loving His people, and letting daily choices align with eternal realities. The more we gaze at Him and act like Him, the brighter His glory will shine through us in every corner of life.
