Ways to publicly thank You daily?
How can we "give You thanks" publicly in our daily lives today?

Verse at the Center

“I will give You thanks in the great assembly; I will praise You among many people.” (Psalm 35:18)

What the Verse Teaches

• Thanksgiving is not private only; it belongs “in the great assembly” and “among many people.”

• Praise is verbal—spoken or sung—and intentional.

• The psalmist expects real gatherings, real voices, real witnesses; the same applies today.

Living It Out with Our Words

• Speak openly of God’s goodness in everyday conversation (Colossians 3:17).

• Begin family meals or workplace lunches with a brief word of gratitude.

• Share Scripture on social media with a personal note of thanks.

• Sing praise aloud—at home, in the car, on a walk (Ephesians 5:19–20).

Living It Out with Our Actions

• Serve others cheerfully, crediting God for the strength to help (1 Peter 4:11).

• Write thank-you notes that acknowledge the Lord’s provision behind a person’s kindness.

• Carry out work duties with excellence; when complimented, direct the honor to God (Matthew 5:16).

Living It Out in Community Life

• Participate wholeheartedly in congregational worship, adding your voice to the chorus (Hebrews 13:15).

• Testify briefly in small groups about answered prayer or daily mercies.

• Volunteer for public Scripture readings or music that magnify the Lord.

Living It Out in Digital Spaces

• Post short, sincere testimonies of what God has done.

• Re-share verses or sermons that elevate thanksgiving over complaint.

• Use messaging apps to encourage friends with gratitude-filled notes (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

Living It Out Under Pressure

• Thank God aloud even when circumstances are hard (Acts 16:25).

• Let co-workers see calm confidence in trials, attributing peace to Christ (Philippians 4:6–7).

• Keep a visible gratitude journal on your desk or phone; entries themselves bear witness.

A Daily Checklist for Visible Gratitude

□ Morning: offer spoken thanks before phone or coffee.

□ Midday: acknowledge God’s help after a task finishes.

□ Evening: recount one public moment of praise from the day.

□ Night: text or email someone a sentence of thanks that includes God’s name.

Putting It All Together

Consistent, open gratitude—voiced and demonstrated—turns ordinary settings into “great assemblies.” Every hallway, feed, meeting, and meal becomes a platform to “give You thanks… among many people,” showing a watching world the goodness of the Lord.
