1“Make the tabernacle (tent) out of ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, purple, and scarlet: with cherubim skillfully woven into them. 2The length of one curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits (42 feet), and four cubits (6 feet) wide: and each curtain shall have the same measure. 3The five curtains shall be coupled together by loops into one long curtain. 4And you shall make the loops of blue material along the edge of the end curtain from the selvedge in the coupling; and do the same with the edge of last curtain. 5Make fifty loops for each curtain, and fifty loops shall you make in the edge of the curtain that is coupled to the next; that the loops may connect with one another. 6And make fifty clasps of gold, and use them to couple the curtains together to make it into one tabernacle.

7And make eleven curtains of goats' hair to be a covering for the tabernacle. 8The length of each of these eleven curtains shall be thirty cubits (45 feet), and the width of one curtain four cubits (6 feet): and the eleven curtains shall be all of one measure. 9And you shall couple (join) five curtains together, and six curtains together, and shall fold the sixth curtain double in the front of the tabernacle. 10And make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain that is outermost in the first set, and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which is the second set. 11And make fifty clasps of bronze, to clasp the loops, and couple the tent together, that it may be one. 12And the remaining two-cubit (3-foot) half curtain shall hang over the back of the tabernacle. 13With one cubit on the one side, and the other cubit on the other side of the extra length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it. 14And then make a covering of rams' skins dyed red, and over that a covering of badgers' skins.

15And you shall make a vertical framework of acacia wood boards for the tabernacle. 16Ten cubits (15 feet) shall be the length of each board, and a cubit and a half (2 feet 3 inches) shall be the width of each board. 17There shall be two tenons in each board, to couple the boards together: thus shall you do for all the boards of the tabernacle. 18And you shall make twenty boards for the south side of the tabernacle. 19And you shall make forty sockets (bases) of silver under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for its two tenons, and two sockets under the next board for its two tenons. 20And for the second (north) side of the tabernacle there shall be twenty boards. 21And their forty silver sockets; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under the next board. 22And for the west side of the tabernacle, make six boards. 23And make two boards for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides. 24And they shall be coupled together beneath, and joined together above them unto one ring: thus shall it be for them both; they are for the two corners. 25And they shall be eight boards, with their sixteen silver sockets; two sockets under each board, and two sockets under the next board. 26And make bars of acacia wood; five bars for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle, 27And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward. 28And the middle bar, halfway up each board, shall reach from end to end. 29And you shall overlay the boards with gold, and make rings of gold for places for the bars: and you shall overlay the bars with gold. 30And you shall erect the tabernacle according to its pattern which was shown to you in the mount.

31And you shall make a veil of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen; with cherubim skillfully woven into them: 32And you shall hang it on four pillars of acacia wood, overlaid with gold. Their hooks shall be of gold, upon the four sockets of silver. 33Hang the veil from the clasps, and place the Ark of the Covenant in there behind the veil: the veil shall a divider between the holy place and the most holy. 34And you shall put the mercy seat upon the Ark of the Covenant in the most holy place. 35Place the table outside the veil, and the lampstand across from the table on the south side of the tabernacle; and place the table on the north side. 36And for the entrance to the tabernacle, make a hanging screen, of blue, purple, scarlet, and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework. 37And make gold hooks for the hanging screen, and five pillars of acacia wood, overlayed with gold; and cast five bronze bases for them.
