1Therefore, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, “Thus says the Sovereign LORD: ‘Behold, I am against you, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal, 2And I will turn you around, and drive you from the north toward the mountains of Israel. 3And I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and will cause your arrows to fall from your right hand. 4You shall die upon the mountains of Israel, you, your hordes, and the nations that are with you; I will give you to the ravenous carrion birds (vultures) of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5You shall fall in the open field; for I have spoken it,’ says the LORD God. 6‘And I will send a fire upon Magog, and among those who dwell securely in the coastlands; and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7In this way, I will make My holy name known among My people, Israel; and I will not let them profane (pollute) My holy name any more; and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 8That day of judgment is coming, and it shall surely happen,’ says the LORD God. ‘This is the day of which I have spoken. 9And they who dwell in the cities of Israel shall go out, and gather for fuel all the weapons strewn about - the shields. bucklers (small shields), bows, arrows, handspikes, and the spears, and all that will supply fuel for their fires for seven years, 10They shall have no need to gather wood from the field, nor cut any wood out of the forests; for they shall burn these weapons as fuel for the fire; and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them,’ says the LORD God. 11‘And on that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the sea; and the stench shall stop the travelers, and there they shall bury Gog and all his hordes; and they shall call it “The Valley of Hamon-gog.” 12And the people of Israel shall be burying them for seven months, to cleanse the land. 13Yes, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a day of renown (memorial) when I shall be glorified,’ says the LORD God. 14‘And they shall appoint teams of men for the continual task of passing through the land to search, with the help of the travelers, to bury those that still remain on the surface of the land; to cleanse it. Even after seven months, 15When travelers passing through the land see a man's bone, they shall set up a marker by it, till the buriers have buried it in the Valley of Hamon-gog. 16And there shall be a town there named Hamonah, which means “horde”. And in this way they shall finally purge the land. 17And, son of man, thus says the Sovereign LORD: Say to every bird, and to every beast of the field, ‘Assemble yourselves, and come; gather on every side to My sacrifice that I offer to you, a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that you may eat meat, and drink blood. 18You shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, lambs, goats, and bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19And you shall eat fat till you are full, and drink blood till you are drunk, of My sacrifice which I have offered for you.’ 20Thus you shall be filled at My table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war’, says the LORD God.

21And I will display My glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see the judgment and punishment that I have executed, and My hand that I have laid upon them. 22So the people of Israel shall know that I am the LORD, their God, from that day forward. 23And the nations shall know that the people of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they trespassed against Me, therefore I hid My face from them, and handed them over to their enemies; such that they died by the sword. 24I dealt with them according to their uncleanness and their transgressions, and have hidden My face from them. 25Therefore, thus says the LORD God: ‘Now I will restore and bring back the captivity (exiles) of Jacob, and will have mercy upon all the people of Israel, and will be zealous for My holy name, 26After they have borne their punishment for their trespasses against Me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid. 27When I have gathered them back from the nations, and from their enemies' lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations, 28Then they shall acknowledge that I am the LORD, their God, Who caused them to be led into captivity among the nations; but I have now gathered them into their own land, and have left none of them there anymore. 29Nor will I hide My face from them anymore; for I will pour out My Spirit upon the people of Israel’, says the LORD God.”’”
