1And the LORD said to Moses, 2“Speak to Aaron and his sons, that they treat with respect the holy things that the children of Israel dedicate unto Me, that they do not profane My holy name in those things which they hallow unto Me: I am the LORD. 3Tell them, ‘Whoever among your descendants throughout your generations, who approaches the holy things, which the children of Israel hallow unto the LORD, while he is ceremonially unclean, that soul shall be cut off from My presence; I am the LORD. 4Whatever descendant of Aaron is a leper, or has a running issue; shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. And whoever touches anything that is defiled, either by the dead, an emission of semen; 5Or by touching any creeping thing, by which he may be made unclean, or by touching anyone who is ceremonially unclean, whatever uncleanness he has; 6The soul who has touched any such thing shall be unclean until evening, and shall not eat any of the holy things, unless he washes his flesh with water. 7And when the sun sets, he shall be clean, and shall afterward eat of the holy things; because it is his food. 8He shall not eat to defile himself with whatever dies of itself, or is torn by animals: I am the LORD. 9Therefore, the priests shall follow My ordinance in such a way that they are not guilty of treating their duties in a casual manner that profanes them, and die as a consequence: for I, the LORD, do sanctify them.

10No stranger shall eat any of a holy thing: a guest of the priest, or a hired servant, shall not eat any holy thing. 11But if the priest buys a slave with his money, or anyone who is born in his house, may eat some of his food. 12If the priest's daughter is married to a stranger, she may not eat any offering of the holy things. 13But if the priest's daughter is a widow, or is divorced, and has no child, and has returned to her father's house, as in her youth, she shall eat of her father's food; but no outsider shall eat any of it. 14And if a man eats of the holy thing unwittingly, then he shall make restitution to the priest, adding a fifth of the value of it. 15They shall not profane the holy things that the Israelites offer unto the LORD, 16By allowing unauthorized people to eat the sacred offerings and bringing guilt upon them, that requires them to pay compensation: for I, the LORD, do sanctify them.’”

17And the LORD said to Moses, 18Speak to Aaron, and his sons, and to all the Israelites, and tell them: ‘Whoever he is of the house of Israel, or of the sojourners in Israel, that will offer his oblation for all his vows, and for all his freewill offerings, which they may offer unto the LORD for a burnt offering; 19Your offering must be a male without blemish, of the oxen, the sheep, or of the goats. 20But you shall not offer whatever has a blemish: for it shall not be acceptable on your behalf. 21And whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD to fulfill his vow, or a freewill offering of oxen or sheep, it shall be perfect, to be accepted; there shall be no blemish in it. 22You shall not offer blind, broken, maimed, or having a wen (wart or lump), scurvy, or scabbed unto the LORD, nor make an offering by fire of them upon the altar unto the LORD. 23You may, however, offer bullock or a lamb that has anything superfluous or lacking in his parts, as a freewill offering; but it shall not be accepted for a vow. 24You shall not offer unto the LORD what is bruised, crushed, broken, or cut; nor shall you make any offering of it in your land. 25Nor from a stranger's hand shall you offer the bread of your God of any of these; because their corruption is in them, and blemishes are in them: they shall not be accepted for you.’”

26And the LORD said to Moses, 27“When a bullock, sheep, or goat, is born, then it shall remain with its mother seven days; and from the eighth day onward, it shall be considered acceptable for an offering made by fire unto the LORD. 28And whether it is a cow or ewe, you shall not kill both it and her young in one day. 29And when you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving unto the LORD, offer it at your own free will. 30On the same day it shall be eaten; you shall leave none of it until the next day: I am the LORD. 31Therefore you shall keep and obey My commandments: I am the LORD. 32Do not profane My holy name; but I will be hallowed (respected) among the children of Israel: I am the LORD Who hallows you, 33Who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD.”
